i’d kill for a Lechon Kawali

I’ve decided to lose those extra pounds i got from over eating last holiday season. It means that my evening blue plate will contain less and less food hell this is gonna be hard just kill me now.

This is my second week.. and more weeks to follow. Now easy on the thoughts people.. i am not killing myself. Not just yet. I am not that vain. I am not that crazy. Oh maybe a little.

I want to achieve back the weight i had a few months ago. You know, the normal weight this height should have and not the weight this fat ass has currently.

So how do i achieve this goal? I can’t even enroll myself to a gym. I am too lazy to even exercise. I am a hard headed retard no drug lord can even convince me to do those. *wink* For now.. i wanna lose weight. Nevermind the abs goal.. abs are for those brandish people. Sabi ko nga, pag ako nagka-ABS, di ko na kayo papansinin lahat.

I’ve managed to lose some before, so what’s stopping me now to achieve it again. All i need is self discipline and an ocean of sterilized milk to counter hyperacidity attacks. Other than that, i’m good to go. Calorie counting starts now….

You see, they are just the things i want.. not those what i really need.

And those i need are just small things, like a house and lot.. lols. Kidding. What i really need is a good 8-hour-plus sleep. A day of doing nothing pampering and a christmas eve with friends and or family.

Nevermind those crappy Apple Iphones.. who needs them anyway? An ISUZU DMAX? are you kidding me?

Christmas is a season of giving back something to others may it be love, hope and or charity, especially those who are in need.

There are times that you feel like you wanted to sleep more than the usual but you have no choice but drag yourself out from the bed because you have a day waiting for you.

There are instances that you wanted to just vegetate in your room, disregard the world and defy gravity.

You stare at the world blankly. Why the hell i feel wistful at times when in fact i have nothing but good air around me.

Is it just me or is it just me?

Might be the weather as well. But hell, christmas is coming and plans to renew old friendships is on the way. I’d like to contact old and err.. nice people out there (those who deserves it), maybe say hi, update and probably correct things as it should be. (adding this in my to-do-list before the year ends – a nice coming soon entry)

Isn’t that a good way to start my christmas season right? I’d better stop whining about getting more sleep like it’s the only thing the world needs. I’ll focus more on important matters like.. uhhh… well… fine… i guess i need more sleep time. yes?

Sorry to disappoint you guys.. but she is not Henyetah.

Henyetah is not sick. Henyetah is okay but Henyetah needs some Henyetah caring she deserves. Henyetah may not be the best Henyetah there is, but i’m pretty sure that Henyetah is my RAKISTA Henyetah!

I say rakista because Henyetah never failed me in the past (well except with some power window setback a few weeks ago, and some flat tires last year, and some clutch trouble a few months back). Henyetah is all good. She never did the Henyetah attitude she once displayed to her former Boss and my Utol. That’s why i love Henyetah like a true Henyetah she is. Like she’s my one and only.

But Henyetah is not a Henyetah god. She too needs some Henyetah service like other widgets out there. Here are some needed Henyetah stuff i am planning to do and accomplish soon.. and when i say soon… it could be next year or the month after next month or maybe never..

First, Henyetah needs fan belt replacing (on top of my to do list). Henyetah is not really noisy while i’m riding her, now she is, Henyetah prob’ly learned how to do some oohhh and ahhhh because her belt is twitching.. err.. that didn’t sound right. Anyway, i will sched her with my Henyetah Specialist (haha.. sosyal ng tawag kay Mang Arman ah!.. may nalalaman pa akong Henyetah Specialist.. )

Speaking of noise, I want her extremely irritating babble when doing the brakes fairly minimized if not eliminated. Friends who’s into cars tell me that the brake plates or whatever they call it needs some cleaning up.

Henyetah recently got her regular tune up and her what-can-i-say-very-rare-car-wash. Now I won’t have to worry until 2020.

This christmas season, i will have her other tires replaced, and yes because i’m Mr. Oh-so-poor-i-don’t-have-enough-money-to-maintain-henyetah-yadda-yadda, i decided to delay her tires a few months more.

I want Henyetah’s tint replaced as well. Henyetah needs some engine wash and detailing.. and some some some… haha

Henyetah will be a happy Henyetah next year because Henyetah will have her Henyetah year. Sige Henyetah pa! whatever that means.

Went home very late.. oh yeah.. i don’t even remember how i got home, what i do remember is that i stopped by at a sari-sari store to light up a yosi… kasi lasheng nga, i thought Henyetah’s window was broken ‘coz i can’t seem to close it, thinking that the store is just a few steps away, i left the car with its window open. I should be vigilant i said, else Henyetah’s gone for good, me left standing there with a stick of yosi i can’t even enjoy. Laughed at myself minutes after because i realized that i shut off the engine hence the non-working power window. funny.

i slept at around 6am, without even taking time to undress myself before going to bed. woke up at exactly 10am with a headache trying to kill my ass off. still dizzy, sleepy and disoriented, i got up. Hangover i said. Thought i could shake it off with a cup of coffee, but no, so i made another one. without any luck, i decided to have an early lunch. then take a paracetamol. you know how it works. i hate taking pills so i shrug the thought off. i said i can bear with it as long as i keep myself busy.

just a few minutes in ym, got an invitation from a very good friend. said a hot soup would heal the hungover. not thinking that it’s a weekend, that i still need to do my laundry, dishes and clean up the mess in my room i made a few days ago. i said yes immediately inviting the same people i’m with a few hours ago. 30 minutes after, i found myself picking up my friends again to go to binondo for the soup a friend promised. i can almost taste the chinese “hot and sour” soup i’ve been craving for months now.

we met up with another friend in manda so we could transfer to his car. parking is a test of patience in binondo so we decided to use his car. he offered his, he knows the in’s and out’s of the city so who am i to complain?

my second time in ongpin. first time in 168 mall. first time in intramuros. though raining, the day was fun-filled with friends who disgust monotony. i spent the whole day nursing a hungover with a headache that won’t go away. but it was worth it. had a very heavy dinner, and yes the soup was there.

the dream i had a while ago was sipping a chinese hot and sour soup, but had a large bowl of white chicken mami instead. so much with my crappy imagination. but i had a roasted duck for dinner. come on!!!?! walking every now and then inside the city limits requires me to refuel more than usual. I need a big meal to compensate the depression of having a dirty feet, a 168-binondo dirty feet. lols.

I slept 12midnight hoping this headache fades away the next day. woke up very early… just imagine yourself waking up at 5am realizing the fact that if i sleep at exactly 12midnight would mean waking up 5hours later without any choice but get up and fancy the young day ahead.

I decided to sleep more and ignored the peeping sun rays trying to fry my face that moment. A smile came after because my head is already clear, meaning the headache’s gone, only to discover that it came back after a few sips of my coffee while checking mails in front of my computer.

It’s gonna be a long day ahead. But hey, a superb saturday gig plus a rainy sunday trip i wouldn’t trade for a luxurious weekend sleep. another great weekend on the list.

Eto ang legendary Calle Crisologo. Visiting this place is like being transported back in time, minus the shop houses and souvenir stores along the street. Gray scale yung image para magmukhang vintage..

Baluarte is another tourist destination in Vigan City. Para ka na ring pumunta sa Jurassic Era because of the live Dinosaur roaming around the area. Wag lang lalapit kasi nangangain ng tao ang isang to kahit vegetarian siya

So if you’re from Manila and  if you wanna visit Vigan, just take the Partas Bus in Aurora Cubao, fare i think is around 600php to 7oophp. Then take a trike going to Calle Crisologo. Special trike trips going to Calle Crisologo costs at around 20php only. Hotel accommodations are quite cheap in this city.. may bonus pang mumu.. haha.

Food is relatively cheap as well.. do not forget to try their famous Vigan Longganisa, Bagnet and their Empanada. If you’re the adventurous type.. Dinengdeng is a must try.
