It could be a malware file, a virus file, or some corrupted file you don’t know about. It could possibly be a hacked file in your server or maybe some porn file you tried to hide in your FTP Folders so your mom wouldn’t see.

But as long as you’re not familiar with it, or you don’t remember uploading it, delete it immediately or be sorry. The file could be potentially dangerous. Read and say it like this.. DEYN-DYE-ROWS. Like that. LOL.

In my case i found this file: “aldrich-catalog.html3\’ and char(124)+user+char(124)=0 and \’\'=\’” while i was deleting malware files found in my clients server. Tried zillions of times deleting the file to no avail. I only got an FTP access, no Cpanel nor a web based file manager for the account. But then again, malufet ako eh, i have ways. har har har.

Just remember, before deleting a file, you need to back up. Download the file first. Make sure that the file is safe to delete, i mean the file should not be a system file or something that your server or website for that matter requires. This simple php file only works with web servers that support PHP. Sorry na lang for those who still worship Señor Bill Gates.

Here’s a very simple solution:

Create a php file and name it “unlink.php” or whatever filename that you like.

Put the line below inside the code:

<?php unlink(“put the file name here”);?>

upload it in the directory where the useless file is located. Then visit the file via your web browser.

Example: http://www.richardorlino.com/unlink.php

The file should be deleted already. If not, then it’s not my problem anymore. LOL.

After changing my account password, i saw some mails the hacker was trying to send via my GMAIL account, good thing Google rejected all of them.  Then i lived happily ever after. the end.

Ang reklamo ko lang minsan, mahirap kalabanin ang mga nagkukunwaring mga Web Developers, not because you know HTML means you are a web developer. Not because you know how to web design means you know how to develop a site. Iba iba yan. Saka karamihan ng mga web developers dito sa Pinas, makakuha lang ng project, kahit alam nilang binabarat na sila, sige lang ng sige.

Kaya madaming mga nagrereklamong clients, dahil hindi makapagdeliver ang nakuha nilang newbie, mura eh, anong makukuha mong resulta sa mura? kaya madaming mga seasoned Web Developers ang nawawalan ng projects because we couldn’t just compete with newbies or web developers who charge low. Ano ba naman ang panama ko sa mga naniningil ng sampung libo per site. minimum charge ko bente mil, at static site pa yun. ni walang program yun.

Wala akong laban sa mga mura mag charge. hindi ko sila kakalabanin.

Kaya sinasabihan ko usually ang mga clients ko, that i charge high, i mean really high. it is because i can deliver.

Yesterday, i got 6,485 maderpaking hits in my site, i am usually averaging from 13,000 to 15,000  hits per day, giving me .. uhmmm … 13,000 times 30.. errr… which gives me … uhmmm… hehe.. i think i need some pindot-numero to help me out. :harhar:

kidding aside, this blog usually gets a whopping 200,000 plus plus hits per month. Last year (yes 2009), i got 3,032,422. That’s 3 million, can you imagine that? Now if we convert that to cash (and in USD) i could have bought the whole Maguindanao province without a sweat. How’s that?
