Here’s a helpful tip especially for people who works regularly in front of a pc and who keeps confidential information on their workstation. Whenever i leave my workstation, i always forget to lock my pc keeping my desktop public and all the work that i’m doing. Before, i used to lock my workstation by hitting on CTRL+ALT+DEL plus mouse clicks. I am.

Yesterday I was able to complete the upgrade of wordpress in my server. That includes all related wordpress hosted blogs and sites under my account. Yeah.. it’s been awhile, i’ve skipped the previous update because.. err.. busy ata ako nun.. hehe.

Anyway.. i’m just glad to have this new wordpress look.

This is what i get everytime i login to my email account every morning. It’s not a happy scenario since i don’t need junk emails, they only eat up my mail space. Good thing GMAIL automatically traps spam emails and sends all those crap to my SPAM folder, though once in a while i still get some useless emails in my inbox but it doesn’t matter anymore. Believe me, you’ll get used to it… sooner or later.

Wordpress Upgrade
The last few days, i’ve been working on some upgrades with all wordpress accounts residing on my server. I’ve discovered that some spammers are now trying to attack blog posts in some of my accounts. One casualty was Imman’s Blog, another is mine… one scheduled entry was hacked. Good thing i was able to see it before it got posted. I immediately upgraded to Wordpress 2.3.2 to prevent that dumfuk problem from happening again. Pakyu kayong mga spammers!

I had a problem with WP-SpamFree awhile ago, it blocks all comments including manually entered comments and this is a big problem.

So yun, i had to turn it off and do some upgrades.. akalain mo yun.. ilang minutes pa lang na naka-disable ang plugin .. AKISMET has already captured 4 fucking useless comments. Di talaga ako titigilan ng mga ungas na ‘to…

To date, i already received 51,455 Spam Comments in my Blog, stats courtesy of Akismet. My gas! heaps of stupid comments everyday? What the hell am i going to do with 51,455 useless comments? If they, i mean those fucking spammers, just pay me a peso per useless comment, i could’ve earned 51 thousand pesos already. I could have created more blogs online for them to spam like there’s no tomorrow.

I wasn’t considering getting an iPhone since last Thursday. Since i’m not really into iPods, i kept ignoring the iPhone besides i still have my SE W850i Walkman Phone. Then i saw this video showing off how the iPhone works… i fell inlove with the gadget at that very moment, became so interested i thought of getting one before the year ends, consider it as a Christmas gift to myself. haha! read more »»
