It’s a weird feeling that up to this minute i’m still awe-strucked with IMAX and can’t get over with the episode. Last saturday was my first IMAX experience (courtesy of Birthday Boy Kuya Kim) together with good old (and some new) friends.

We’ve decided to feel the 3D experience via the arid Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, the 6th of the Harry Potter movie series. The 3D part lasted for like 25 drooling minutes, worth every penny if you ask me. The IMAX MOA has the largest screen in the country, which makes the 3D experience a little over the edge. read more »»

Bading pala si Dumbledore.. haha.. kaya pala sobra na lang ang pagkagiliw ng matanda kay Harry Potter. Does that make him a pedophile?

JK Rowling outs Dumbledore as gay

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed that one of her characters, Hogwarts school headmaster Albus Dumbledore, is gay.

She made her revelation to a packed house in New York’s Carnegie Hall on Friday, as part of her US book tour.

She took audience questions and was asked if Dumbledore found “true love”.

“Dumbledore is gay,” she said, adding he was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a battle between good and bad wizards long ago.

The audience gasped, then applauded. “I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy,” she said.

“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” she added, saying Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down” and his love for Grindelwald was his “great tragedy”.

“Oh, my god,” Rowling, 42, concluded with a laugh, “the fan fiction”.

At last… i finished reading the last book of JK Rowlings Harry Potter Series. Methinks that this is the best installment.. numerous deaths, dark secrets, and Snapes revelation. Who would even think that Snape was really Dumbledore’s and that he was there all along to protect Potter… who would? tell me? I guess no one expected this arrogant asshole had a heart, thought he was pure evil.

Dobby (applauds his loyalty to Harry Potter) was there till his death… i guess that’s how the author interpreted his character, loyal, protective and loving. Never thought that this house elf could really move me.

STORY TELLING A LIE
The lies of Albus Dumbledore was intricate, didn’t care much of it though. Rowling concentrated on the evil side of Dumbee, too boring if you ask me. Ako na lang sana nagsulat at inilagay ko dun that Dumbledore was a direct descendant of Gryffindor and James Potter is his son, making Harry Potter his grandson, hence his very unique partiality to Potter. Then it stops there.

I am almost through with Book 7, and hell yeah the last book is the best one… every chapter is a revelation… can’t wait to finish it. Anyway i found this PDF file on the net and thought of uploading it to my server for others who doesn’t have a book, pwede na rin for others who have a pc but have a tight budget.. or for people who doesn’t want to have a book but are a fan of JK Rowlings fiction… or for people who doesn’t really give a shit.

Got my book already. Dumating yung pinsan ko last Friday (from US) and she delivered the book before I went home to La Union. Guess what? Libre… wahaha! Thanks Insan!

Had another First Day High with Harry Potter in the movie house last July 11, 2007 with Michelle and Dario. We are in fact thrilled to watch the movie, let’s say.. we are greatly into movie-watching lately and we fancy watching movies on its first day of screening.. the next day.. we’d chat about it in the office the whole day… sarcastically… seducing other officemates to watch it also.. haha

INASAL
Anyway.. since we are all living near Robinsons Pioneer.. we opted to watch it there. Yeah..we had dinner first…. Blah! Blah! Blah! Went to INASAL and tasted the phenomenal Ysabella’s Chicken Inasal… methinks that the chicken really tastes superior… it’s not that exceptional actually… there is something really different.. something familiar, something I’ve tasted before… but yes.. I like the recipe.. quite appetizing. I didn’t enjoy the dinner as we had to rush it to get in time for the movie. Buset!

At last.. i’m done reading Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince… at sino daw ung half-blood prince? hehe…. someone very good at potions… I won’t elaborate the details since everyone is not reading the book and just relying on the upcoming movie.. baka sa 2008 pa ito ipalabas.
