JK Rowling outs Dumbledore as gay

Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed that one of her characters, Hogwarts school headmaster Albus Dumbledore, is gay.

She made her revelation to a packed house in New York’s Carnegie Hall on Friday, as part of her US book tour.

She took audience questions and was asked if Dumbledore found “true love”.

“Dumbledore is gay,” she said, adding he was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a battle between good and bad wizards long ago.

The audience gasped, then applauded. “I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy,” she said.

“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” she added, saying Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down” and his love for Grindelwald was his “great tragedy”.

“Oh, my god,” Rowling, 42, concluded with a laugh, “the fan fiction”.

At long last… i finished the last book of JK Rowlings Harry Potter Series. Methinks that this is the best installment.. the deaths, the dark secrets, and Snapes revelation. Who would even think that Snape was really Dumbledore’s and that he was there all the time to protect Potter… who would? tell me? haha.. I guess nobody expected that this arrogant asshole had a heart… i thought he was evil.

Then Dobby.. i applaud his loyalty to Harry Potter… he was there till death… i guess that’s how Rowling interpreted his character.. loyal, protective and loving. He was all the way until the end… wow.. i never thought this house elf could really touch my heart. Kudos to Rowling.

STORY TELLING A LIE
The lies of Albus Dumbledore was quite tedious. I didn’t care much of it though… Rowling tried to concentrate on the evil side of Dumbee but that’s just so jurrasic.. so useless.. haha.. ako na lang sana nagsulat at inilagay ko dun that Dumbledore is a direct descendant of Gryffindor and James Potter is his son.. making Harry Potter his grandson.. hence his fondness to Potter. That way everything stops there.

I am almost through with Book 7, and hell yeah the last book is the best one… every chapter is a revelation… can’t wait to finish it. Anyway i found this PDF file on the net and thought of uploading it to my server for others who doesn’t have a book, pwede na rin for others who have a pc but have a tight budget.. or for people who doesn’t want to have a book but are a fan of JK Rowlings fiction… or for people who doesn’t really give a shit.

Had another First Day High with Harry Potter in the movie house last July 11, 2007 with Michelle and Dario. We are in fact thrilled to watch the movie, let’s say.. we are greatly into movie-watching lately and we fancy watching movies on its first day of screening.. the next day.. we’d chat about it in the office the whole day… sarcastically… seducing other officemates to watch it also.. haha

INASAL
Anyway.. since we are all living near Robinsons Pioneer.. we opted to watch it there. Yeah..we had dinner first…. Blah! Blah! Blah! Went to INASAL and tasted the phenomenal Ysabella’s Chicken Inasal… methinks that the chicken really tastes superior… it’s not that exceptional actually… there is something really different.. something familiar, something I’ve tasted before… but yes.. I like the recipe.. quite appetizing. I didn’t enjoy the dinner as we had to rush it to get in time for the movie. Buset!

At last.. i’m done reading Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince… at sino daw ung half-blood prince? hehe…. someone very good at potions… I won’t elaborate the details since everyone is not reading the book and just relying on the upcoming movie.. baka sa 2008 pa ito ipalabas. This year yata lalabas ang last installment ni JK Rowling sa most anticipated Book of all time. I heard sa last quarter ng taon, and the title is…. Harry Potter and the Deadly Halo-halo.. wahaha.. sorry.. got carried away… Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

2 weeks ago, i was in National Bookstore looking for something to buy… but Harry Potter, (that blasted kid.. haha!) got in the way… since di ko pa sya nababasa… tapos ko na kasi ung Order of the Phoenix last year, i got tempted and right there and then.. gusto kong bilhin yung book… damn you Richard.. you have other things in plan.. wala sa itinerary mo yang Harry Potter 6 na yan.. haha! So because i thought may ibang araw pa naman… i left the store empty handed.

The Sad Truth
I was haunted by the idea of getting the latest release of the book. Kaya para matigil na ang kahibangan kong ito… last sunday… because i had nothing to do… i went to National Bookstore Megamall to get that book. Talk about self control! Wahahahaha

Good thing na rin since, yung Order of the Phoenix, malapit na ring ipalabas sa mga sinehan… and para updated na rin ako sa Harry Potter. So there…. napagastos ng wala sa oras..
