Here are the terms of the project—

* Submission of 2-3 studies/sample designs
* Content management system using Joomla (free of charge)
* Content and graphics by technical staff from client
* Animation for certain design elements
* Page for inquiries/email request forms
* 1 day workshop for technical staff from client for website maintenance
* Option for contract out maintenance (P1,000/month)

Fee is P15,000, 50% payable if you come up with 3 studies.

On joomla, if you feel that it’s better if you use Dreamweaver and do the programming yourself, we can change the terms.

I declined the offer. You see, the offer is a fuckin insult to experienced Web Developers like me, lalo na yung mga malulupit na freelancers like me. With the requirements provided, the fee is very minimal. Sabi ko nga, kung sa mga amateurs mo in-offer yan, baka susunggaban agad yan. No offense meant to newbies out there, but hell, we web developers deserve better. Hindi porke’t kelangan mo ng pera kahit alam mong demanding ang project at maliit ang bayad ay tatanggapin mo na.

I do freelance, i develop sites, i program it, i host it and i do maintenance. It’s what i do and i am good at it. Jakoloptrades kumbaga. :glee:

Ang reklamo ko lang minsan, mahirap kalabanin ang mga nagkukunwaring mga Web Developers, not because you know HTML means you are a web developer. Not because you know how to web design means you know how to develop a site. Iba iba yan. Saka karamihan ng mga web developers dito sa Pinas, makakuha lang ng project, kahit alam nilang binabarat na sila, sige lang ng sige.

Kaya madaming mga nagrereklamong clients, dahil hindi makapagdeliver ang nakuha nilang newbie, mura eh, anong makukuha mong resulta sa mura? kaya madaming mga seasoned Web Developers ang nawawalan ng projects because we couldn’t just compete with newbies or web developers who charge low. Ano ba naman ang panama ko sa mga naniningil ng sampung libo per site. minimum charge ko bente mil, at static site pa yun. ni walang program yun.

Wala akong laban sa mga mura mag charge. hindi ko sila kakalabanin.

Kaya sinasabihan ko usually ang mga clients ko, that i charge high, i mean really high. it is because i can deliver.

been playing a fool for years and found nothing serious at relationships, only playmates for the night. there are days that i find real people and take gamble only to find out that i’m just a chunk of meat, a dispensable shit. then i learned to play the game. scratch mine and i’ll scratch yours. the idea was simple and for years i enjoyed it.

do i get tired? of which i mean being single. who doesn’t? i will in the near future. say a few years from now. i know people who eventually got tired of being single and settled down. a good friend married at a young age, after six pathetic years of trying to build a home, they called the marriage off. now both of them can’t wed again. carrying out an annulment will cost you an arm and leg, especially for people who can’t afford it.

80% of the people around me have broken families. most of them now are single parents. 15% are trying to make the cut and then the remaining 5% are happy. i too came from a broken family and it ain’t easy. like i have a choice. like i have a say on what my parents would decide on.

it is but right for the girl that i want to spend the rest of my life with gets a church wedding. would i want a church wedding? i see myself getting married, yes. in reality would i want a church wedding, considering all the monetary factors that lie behind it. now that’s another topic i’d like to write about some time.

currently, i say no to marriage. i’m not closing my doors though. if at the right time with the right person, yes i might change my beliefs and consider the typical.

i bought my 1 terra hard dicks a few months back, last night i fin’lly got my idle ass to retrieve some movie files from my DVD backups.

i usually burn movies that i’ve watched on a DVD, ya know for archive purposes and when the urge of re watching them again comes to mind, i can easily recover and watch them.

some months back, or maybe years ago, someone borrowed a few of them (my dvd movie backups) and returned them a few months after looking like shit.

fast forward. present time. i was recovering some movie files from those dvd’s then errors came flying out:

“Cyclical Redundancy Error”
“The file cannot be read from the source disk”
“You old school fuck face! nobody does a backup on a DVD anymore!”

i ain’t happy about those errors. oh hell i’m not.

i rarely lend personal items. i hate people borrowing stuffs from me. i hate borrowing from other people as well. it’s a personal issue. but of course there are exemptions, but if i can help it.. nek nek mo.
