
My selpong was broken last weekend. Nabasag yung LCD screen nya nung sunday while i was out of town. I wanted to call my Henyetah Specialist kasi gusto ko papalitan yung fan belt ni Henyetah pagbalik ko. Pero wala ng makita sa screen nya. I figured that the lcd screen was broken. I saw a crack near the keypad. So yun.. basag.. di ko magamit. I didn’t bring my extra phone besides i’d be back by Monday rin naman. Dagdag kargo pa.
Naalala ko pa, pinalagay ko yung phone sa pinakasulok ng bag.. for the purpose na di sya mawawala in case may magtangkang sumubok sa bag na yun, only to find out hours later, na tigok na pala si selpong.
Well guess what.. it brought me comfort that day that no one would be able to contact or call me. I wouldn’t have to check if i have a text message every now and then. Kaya tuloy ang relax mode.. nyahahaha!
I was back in Manila last Monday.. after resting, checking mails and all, off i went to SM North to locate and canvass a shop who could replace my selpong’s LCD. Pero sabi..
“Sir, by order po ang LCD…”
“Sir, kelangang magdown kasi ganito.. mahal ang parts, baka di kayo bumalik”
“Sir, bukas nyo pa po makukuha yan… kasi order pa kami ng LCD”
“Sir, 4,500 kasi pati ung touch screen papalitan”
“Sir kahit saan kayo magpunta, ung LCD replacement puro by order yan, kung gusto nyo ipapa-order ko na”
All i could do was smile and whisper.. “Mga hinayupak kayo! Eh anlayo layo ng lalakarin ko papuntang SM Annex tas babalik pa kinabukasan.” Demanding eh.. sayang ang oras.. saka repair shop naman.. dapat ready lagi sa spare parts.
I decided to let go of the idea na sa SM North magpagawa. Sabi ko sa SM Megamall na lang ako.. since malapit lang sa office. Tatlong tambling lang kasi.. :glee:
The morning after.. lunch break.. i went to Megamall.. sa mismong binilhan ko na ng phone ko pinaayos ung phone. Naglapse na rin kasi ung warranty ko..
The tech told me to recover the phone after 30 mins. San ka pa? after 30 mins lang.. sa iba kelangan ko pa balikan kinabukasan.. medyo mahal nga lang.. pero ok na rin un..
I wouldn’t have to wait for another day.. di na kelangan bumalik sa shop. True to their promise.. i got my selpong back after 30mins.. working and good as new.
Saka wala rin ako budget pambili ng bagong phone.. dukha times is at it’s peak. Tipid tipid muna.. hehe.
Pero sayang din kasi ung binayad ko.. during these times that i really needed extra cash for bills and whatnot, situations like these are unacceptable. But what’s a pogi to do? wahahaha!
