Tomorrow… i will be visiting this beautiful place..

I’ll post images when i get back. Sigurado rin yun

this is not an emo post

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Before anyone reacts, I just want to make it clear that this is not an emo post. Emo-ral kumbaga. No nasty images.. no almost naked picture of Anne Curtis.. and no popping nipples this time. This is not an emo (as in emo-tional) post as well. I don’t intend to make this blog a dumpsite of all my victim stories, sniff-cry issues of life and those i-feel-like-a-loser snippets that make your empathic heart  melt like ice. Lastly.. this is not an emo, as in emo-nyo post where i lambast idiots like hell. Hindi ito emo post!

err…….

Why do i feel like i’m too defensive already? (more…)

Nabalitaan ko…

Monday, April 27th, 2009

It’s just sad that i can’t offer my ears anymore. Go figure why friendship is outside the grid. Now that i have carefully thought every point and every minute detail, i have learned that yes happiness is found when you are at peace especially when you are not hurting someone. What i heard is between the walls of my room alone… i have nothing to say not because i don’t care but because i choose not to care. I have given me a simple everyday life and will not complicate it like i used to. I admit that i think of you sometimes, review chat archives but after a wink, your image crashes like a broken mirror. A simple reminder that my memory of everything you, with what’s left of it, has and will be nothing more but a weakened thread ready to snap.

Teka.. EMO post na yata ‘to. Normal na tao na ako and whatever is happening beyond my comfort zone, is not mine to take.

Good Morning

Supervisor: thanks for your advice.
Supervisor: np

It’s a one of those morning in the office where the Company Website is down “again” because of bandwidth issues. Of course not all of you will understand what shit am i talking about, therefore i’m shutting my keyboard up, lol. Anyway, it’s a saturday morning and i’m here at the office, talk about losers. Nah.. we have office every last saturday of the month and i have so many things to finish… baka sisantehin na ako dito.. wahahaha.

Have a great weekend reader. :teehee:

The Sagada Chronicles (Part 4)

6am. I woke up early as i usually do. Daily routine kumbaga. We have to get ready for another fun filled day. We had breakfast at SHAMROCK CAFE. Muntik ng magwala si Kuya Kim. haha. Scheduled activity is to go to the BIG FALLS. We talked to the same Tour Guide para ala na hassle. Tour to the big falls costs at around 600 pesos maximum of 6 people. We rented a ride again. May option to walk naman.. pero it would take us hours to get there. It’s a 10 to 20 minute drive to get there. There as in Starting Point. Going to the Big Falls is like an hour hike. Walk is fun as we had the chance to really strut our stuffs and pose for shots with mountains as backgrounds. Dinaanan rin namin ang mga Rice Terraces plus a secluded community along the way. We had a chance to mingle with kids we met. Photo op na rin.

After a very long walk. We’ve fin’lly arrived. The place was.. crowded.. so you wouldn’t really appreciate the view that much. Pero ok na rin. After an hour or two.. we decided to leave the place and go back. I realized.. leche.. ung nilakad naming pababa at napakalayo.. dadaanan namin ulit! true enough.. going back is a nightmare… paakyat yung dadaanan so it’s way harder.. parang 10 times harder. I swear to God, my heartbeat could pound a 50 storey building into dust. The experience was so tiring i promised my self not to go back in Sagada.. :harhar:

The Sagada Chronicles (Part 3)

continued from The Sagada Chronicles (Part 2)

So the saga(da) continues. We finished a hefty lunch around 2:30 or 3pm. May lasheng pang nangungulit while waiting for our orders to be served. He was friendly pero lasing. :glee: . Can you imagine that? it’s only 2pm pero happy hour na agad. We immediately left Kimchi House after paying the bill. Tas kumausap na kami ng Tour Guide.

It’s a good thing they have skilled native tour guides within the area as they know the do’s and don’ts, basta makinig sa Tour Guides.. kung ayaw nyo masaktan. First stop is the CAVE CONNECTION (Burial Cave and the Sumaguing Cave Connection) According some natives.. it’s a 20 minute walk away from town, but you have an option to rent a Van or a Jeep for a conservative amount. Mga 400 pesos yata. We decided to get a ride. We started our caving via the Burial Cave. The experience was tough… though i’m used to adventures like these.

A short note: when i was a kid, biglang magkakayayaan ang tropa to visit and trek nearby mountains until we reach a certain point na di na namin pwede puntahan. I was on my teens then, mga 12 to 14 years old ako nun, and now that i’m 18.. .. (walang kokontra!) brings back old trippings.. nakakamiss din pala ung kabataan ko. (more…)

The Sagada Chronicles (Part 2)

continued from The Sagada Chronicles (Part 1)

Saturday, April 4, 2009
5am. We are in Victory Liner Baguio Bus Station. From there we bought our tickets going back to Manila.. para ala na hassle on Monday. Then we took a cab going to Dangwa Station. Taxi fare is only 30 pesos… wahaha. Based from our itinerary.. we are an hour late. We may not avail our Caving that day due to schedule issues. Late na kami.. we need to get tickets pa going to Sagada.

6am. Mahaba na yung pila. Next trip is at 8am. Late na nga kami and we still need to have breakfast. Mahaba daw ang byahe.. 6hours pa daw ang byahe going to Sagada. Err.. another 6hours to waste. Just thinking about it, seems like forever already, plus looking at the bus we are about to ride? Parang di makakarating. Going to Baguio is a rough trip to handle.. how much is Sagada? I could only imagine how far that bus can take us. . We don’t have much choice do we?

8am. We left the bus station 15minutes before 8, just after a very heavy breakfast from a very near resto. Trip was ok, road is bumpy, I got some sleep though. We reached Sagada around 1pm.

1pm. As our itinerary dictates it. We have to pay the environmental fee the moment we reach the town. 20 pesos per head. Then check in sa Hotel (?). The room was… ok. No aircon.. malamig na dun so ok lang ala aircon. I’m not really that choosy when it comes to accommodations, basta may bed pwede na.  Then we hired a Tour Guide. Our caving sched is at 2.30pm

2pm. Mag la-lunch muna ang mga hinayupaks. Sabi ni Mr. Oh-so-reliable-itinerary, lunch is at Yoghurt House.  Our caving is 30mins away.. so we need a fast lunch. Unfortunately, Yoghurt House can provide us lunch by 3pm pa. So we had to locate another restaurant that could provide us food within 2 seconds, mas mabilis pa sa service ng McDo. We settled with KIMCHI House, since may ready cooked “Chicken” and or “Pork” adobo sila… may oras pa bang mamili ng ulam? That time.. i was like starting a plan to assassinate everyone within reach.. leche gutom na ko.. kelangan ko ng pagkain. My MINI-ME is threatening to commit suicide already.

The Sagada Chronicles (Part 1)

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Last january, me and my tropapips were already planning a whole year travel sched since all members of the group are kinda… adik bumiyahe.. wahahaha! We’ve discussed lots of places already, we even went as far as Hongkong. Then we’ve finally agreed on going to Puerto Princesa Palawan.. major lakad pa lang yan.. wala pa daw ung mga minor trips namin. Susme.. mabubutas na naman ang bulsa ko. :bop:

Around second week of January, Ate Ana, suggested Sagada. We finalized our Sagada Trip by March.. ang style nyan.. sandamukal na threaded emails to finally get our feet going and set a final date. Not everyone agreed on the dates but then again, the finality of everything was a group effort. May umayaw man o wala, tuloy ang plano.

March 10, may room accommodation na kami. By March 12, Kuya Kim made an itinerary draft already. March 28, our Sagada Itinerary has been finalized, and that includes our budget plan. April 3 was the big day.

Friday. April 3, 2009
I decided not to follow the guys in MOA for dinner. I had to finish some errands and do some Henyetah check up before i leave Manila for Holy Week. I went to the Bus Station around 8pm – scheduled is 9.30pm (i have a very reliable record of always being late lalo na sa mga lakaran namin). An interesting ehem.. subic.. ehem .. story to tell sana pero next time na lang.. hehe. So the guys (minus Burp) are ready. Travel going to Baguio is 6 hours.. or less maybe.. depends on how far our driver’s ingenuity takes him. We left Pasay City at exactly 10pm. We reached NLEX at exactly 12 midnight.

:bop:

Everywhere I’m looking now
I’m surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you’re my saving grace

You’re everything I need and more
It’s written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won’t fade away

Halo by Beyonce. I woke up very early this morning and i found myself singing a part of this song.
