I haven’t been apprehended by MMDA or MAPSA to say the least. It’s not that i want to experience those guys bugging me for a violation along EDSA or Makati. As much as i want to, i always stay safe when I’m on EDSA or Makati, i don’t over speed (much ), I stay on one lane the whole time (OK, for at least 40 seconds ), so i guess i am quite behaved when driving.

I’m just new to driving, i learned it with the help of Yevka… pero di nya tinuro ung pagiging maangas ko sa kalye. There was one time that i almost bumped to a jeepney along Mindanao Ave… nakikipagsabayan ba naman sa akin.. eh ambilis ng takbo ko. That time i realized na masyado na akong wreckless. I told myself to be safer next time. Hinay hinay na sa pagda-drive. Not!

A friend told me that wreckless drivers are not properly educated… i guess.. di kasi ako dumaan sa Driving School. But then again… as long as you get the proper basics of driving, you are good to go. Konting lakas na lang ng loob and you should be fine. Ang mga wreckless, kulang lang yan sa pasensya at natatae lagi kaya nagmamadali. I must admit.. wreckless ako but when i am sure no other overspeeding cars are around, lalo na sa madaling araw. Dati ako yung binubusinahan, ngayon ako na ung nambubusina..

Now i am starting to familiarize myself in the Metro lalo na sa QC, memorizing shortcuts, thinking of possible and easier access going to somewhere and of course behaving properly when authorities are nearby.

Below is what i got from a forum in case those effin’ MMDA’s caught you violating something along the road.

- First and most importantly, MMDA cannot CONFISCATE your DRIVER’S LICENSE when apprehended for a traffic violation. Ticket lang ang pwedeng ibigay sa’yo. They can only do such when you did something critical, like an accident, or if it’s your third violation (medyo critical na ‘to) or if you have outstanding fines to be paid.

- MMDA’s are not allowed to group together in order to apprehend someone. Ang sabi, they can only do that if and when they need to apprehend a group of buses for smoke belching or some sort.

- SWERVING is defined as shifting to two or more lanes in a quick manner. So shifting to the left or right lane (and with a signal on) is NOT swerving. Remember that, madami ang nahuhuli sa ganyang violation without even knowing the real meaning of swerving.

- The YELLOW LANE is for buses only, while outside the YELLOW lane is for private cars. Now if the MMDA apprehends you with that kind of violation, try checking out some buses going out of the yellow lane, saka mo sila tanungin bakit di sila nanghuhuli ng buses going outside their respective lanes.

- Ask them their so-called “MISSION ORDER.” Pag hinuli kayo for a violation that is not included in their mission order for that day, you may file a complaint.

- If you’re going to argue with those fuckers, just remember that you are on the right track (if you are) … but then again no matter how wrong they are, be nice to them kahit High School graduate lang sila o hindi. Tao din sila at nagtratrabaho lang. But if they just want to suck up your wallet… damn! bring out the monster in you and whop their asses to oblivion!

- For queries and semi-queries call the MMDA hotline (02) 136 or call their trunk line at 882-4151 to 77 and ask for the Inspectorate. They will send inspectors to the place where these MMDA officers are doing something funny.
