
Last September… blah blah blah… a very long story, kaya blah blah blah na lang. Haha! Anyway… after some long issues, debates, thinking and some pain in the ass, i’m finally having my new laptop, sort of. The gadget was bought in the US because it’s cheaper, way cheaper. So we requested, we in the sense that my cousin knows someone in the US and she’s going to request her friend to do the buying for me. I’ve been monitoring some websites about the model that I want, in fact i was gradually checking all websites that sells my desired notebook model in case they get the item on sale. 10% to 20% discount is no joke, that’s a big amount for a discount. The sad part of my story is, my cousin’s friend failed to order the item while it was on sale. So i’d have to locate a different website again that sells the same model, and when i finally found the notebook, i emailed her the info and link immediately. She disastrously failed to buy the item again because the order was declined. She entered the wrong billing address. I swear i’d kill myself if she does it again.
Oh God! This is going to be a long process to get through… i just knew something is not right. I’m not even sure if i’m going to make it… alive!
Good thing i still have my patience intact. I was too frustrated about her inadequacy so i decided to cancel the arrangement, I asked her to send my money back so that i can personally buy the item here in the Philippines and make sure that i get it without any hassles and mistakes. But my cousin told me .. oh this.. and that.. US dollar is this.. and that… so i said fine, last chance. Last fukin’ chance. So this last chance, was really her last.She finally got it all correct. The notebook was purchased without issues, and she got it delivered to her house at last. I guess I have an issue with asking favors from other people.
Another problem was the shipping of the item… argghhh! Here we go again! Term ko nga sa pinsan ko… “natutulog ata sa pansitan yang kaibigan mo!” Yes i know, i am only asking for a favor… i shouldn’t be so mean. But my point was… i already decided to buy the machine here in Pinas… i could have been enjoying the item right at this very moment if that was the case. Now I’m here waiting for something (i’m not sure when to arrive) like a sitting duck instead.
It took another 3 weeks before she got the item shipped. So that’s another scenario to behold. Can you picture my frustration? Can you? Can you?
She quipped.. oh yeah i was busy.. oh yeah.. i was waiting for something.. oh i don’t have this. Dumfuk! She knows that i’m not happy already, and i guess she was also pissed because i was really expecting the item, and i was bugging her every now and then. But don’t think that i was being rude to her. I was even telling her to take her time. She took her time alright. I was nice, very nice at that, and I even say my thank you’s everytime we chat.
To cut the story short.. she got the item shipped. Nah, that’s not the end of the story. She gave me the tracking number so we could track the location of the item remotely. Oh yeah.. I was too happy because my notebook is on its way home already. Then I found out that the tracking number was not working! Huwaattt? I can’t even track the shipment… talk about useless information. So I messaged her telling that the tracking number was not working properly. She never replied. I asked my cousin to contact her instead. She realized that the tracking number she provided was incorrect. That was funny.
I was expecting my notebook be shipped via FEDEX or UPS… but instead, she decided to ship it using USPS. I said.. ah ok..
Then I realized that the item will not be delivered directly to us, we will be picking it up in the POST OFFICE. Post Office? What the hell is that? Are you fucking crazy? I was fucking disappointed. Or was it just me? Or was I over reacting?
Now my what if’s are coming in like crazy. What if they, the post office charges taxes more than the usual? What if some moron in the office mishandles the item? What if they release an item different from what was shipped? What if some asshole steals something inside the package?
What if they refuse to release the item because the correct value wasn’t declared by the shipper? Another dumfuk attempt to save money. I expected her to ship everything legit, no hidden data whatsoever.. she totally messed everything, big time!
Now her 3-5 days promised delivery time has lapsed. 11 days has passed and I haven’t got my laptop yet. If i was her boss… i’d FIRE her already… i’ve never seen someone so inadequate.. so slow moving.. so lousy and so stupid my entire life. It’s like… fuck! where did she came from? And why was i relying something expensive be bought by someone i haven’t even met?
My excitement is gone. I’m not happy with what is happening.. i’m not even planning to say my thank you to her anymore. Now i don’t care if my notebook arrives or not. This is such a bad experience i’m planning to sell that notebook the moment it arrives.
Just keep the disappointments coming! There’s room for more…
