I’ve been thinking.. then i thought… what if i was not a Web Programmer?

I could’ve been a Politician.
When I was 16 I was elected as the SK Chairman in our barangay. If i hadn’t quit from that post to fulfill my destiny as a programmer (naks), i could still be in Politics, baka barangay kagawad na ako.. haha!

I could’ve been a Medical Technologist… or a Doctor.
My first course in College was Medical Technology… i thought it was a cool degree.. and i really wanted a well paying job in the future.. i thought being a MedTech will make me one of the most successful people around our town and that after i finish the course.. i’ll need another course to become a full pledged Doctor. Oh well.. whatever pushed me to pursue that degree, i don’t know, it didn’t do good for me that’s for sure. After a year.. i quit my course, stopped school and after 2 years, i emerged from hibernation and took up a computer course… banging every subject, doing what i do best… PROGRAMMING!

I could’ve been an OLYMPIAN.
Hanep sa pangarap! Haha! Seriously… naudlot lang yan since Chess until today is not yet a recognized Olympic Sport. I would’ve considered this Sport.. since i was a good player before. Now.. nah… sa inuman na lang ako magaling.

I could’ve been a Painter.
And so i thought. Before, sketching was one of my earliest hobbies… i could draw images well, until i realized that drinking is much more fun. haha Ayun.. biglang kambyo ng career. haha

Malamang I am a professional BUM.
Oh yeah! BUM.. a certified bum. With no money on the pocket. No savings. Doing nothing. Sleeping the whole day thinking of nothing. Eat. Drink. Smoke. Good thing i got my senses moving and got out from that thinking.

If before i wasn’t so sure of what i was doing… i maybe a farmer now.
Since farming is the bread and butter of most of my relatives in the province. I might have considered farming as means of earning money now. But then again.. i thought that farming isn’t really my thing… though when i was a kid.. i always wanted to join my aunt whenever she goes to the farm.

So there… marami pa sana.. i also considered being a Technician, a Civil Engineer.. and when i was in High School, I really wanted to take up Electronics and Communications Engineering… i also considered Physical Therapy as a course… so malamang masahista ako ngayon kung natuloy ako.. haha!

Laki kita.. may extra service pa! I mean may kasamang kwento… nyahaha!
