Akala ko minimal lang ung damage sa Glorietta Mall kahapon kasi ang nabalita sa internet ay LPG blast lang sya.. everyone in the mall of course panicked because of the untoward incident. A few hours later. It appeared na hindi lang pala basta LPG ang sumabog… lumalabas sa imbestigasyon that it was indeed a bomb that wrecked a significant area of the posh mall. Based from the images that has been uploaded in the web.. malaking part ng mall ang nasira.. death toll has be to considered also plus the people who were injured. Huwaw!  Glorietta mall complex reopens, except for damaged portion
By Thea AlbertoMANILA, Philippines–A day after a deadly blast in the Glorietta 2 mall, that killed nine people and left over a hundred injured, the rest of the sprawling Ayala retail complex in Makati City resumed operations Saturday.
Jaime Ayala, CEO of the Ayala Land, the mall’s operator, assured the public that the rest of the mall was safe.
“We are organizing with all our security providers…we also intend to work closely with the PNP [Philippine National Police] in ensuring the safety of our customers,” Ayala told a press conference at the activity area of the Glorietta mall complex.
Ayala also clarified that their security guards conduct daily drills and that there had been no security lapse.
Ayala said they could not yet give a specific timeframe on when the Glorietta 2 portion of the mall would reopen.
Meanwhile, several establishments like big fast-food chains in other parts of the mall remained closed.
