Movie Marathon
Last night because i’m trying to adjust my body clock caused by our draining night shift schedule last week, i have to stay awake unfortunately. But i did sleep early.. around 4am. Good thing na rin coz i had the chance to watch 2 movies one after the other.
BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA
I am a fan of fiction and movies with unimaginable effects and this movie really satisfied my movie addiction. It has been awhile since i got to see a feel good movie that actually tickles the imagination.
I didn’t get to watch this on the big screen so i waited until the torrent download was available. I saw the trailer, yes, but the movie tells me otherwise. It wasn’t a disappointment. Coz, i got stuck in the story. It is a kid movie, but this is what i like about kid movies, minimal violence and no sex scenes (**plastik. haha!)
During the run, i get distracted with the lead girl every now and then. Parang nakita ko na kasi sya.. haha! Hindi sa kabilang kanto ah. Then i thought.. yeah.. i saw her in “The Reaping” (Lead: Hilary Swank).
Anyway, the movie was heartwarming and it made me shed some tears along the way. Haha! Para akong tungaw, with all that awe in the face as the movie progresses. I recommend this movie as it teaches us to be more imaginative and gives us a way of giving importance to a real friendship beyond comprehension. Ako naman eh madaling ma-impress sa mga movies with special effects. Haha!
CHARLOTTE’S WEB
Pambata ulit. Another heartwarming movie. But i like Terabithia better. Shallow yung story, nonetheless… every bit of the story is important. I like the lead pig as he’s too naive and so positive about the world around him. he did changed the characters around him. The RAT was cool…. yun lang.. haha…
